Pick this service if your MacBook is not turning on at all or has another fault, and you are not sure what the cause of the issue is. We offer a no fix, no fee service and free assessment and a 12 month warranty; if you decide not to proceed with the repair, we ship this back to you at no charge (exclusions apply for age of MacBook, prior repair attempts, and more. Click here for details).

A common part to fail is the logic board. We repair the original logic board if this is the case, since it is more cost effective compared to replacement, and logic board repairs are carried out for between £100-£200 (2017 and older) or £200-£300 (2018 and newer), with newer models or more complex issues with the logic board being at the higher end of the price range. A lot of companies (Apple included) will only offer a logic board replacement, since it’s an easier option; this doesn’t mean your logic board is not repairable, they just do not train their technician to deal with more complex repairs.

We use the latest equipment and test parts to diagnose your MacBook and determine what work is needed. Don’t take a chance with general PC or phone repair shops who can sometimes make the issue worse or misdiagnose; we only carry out MacBook repairs and are true MacBook repair specialists. We have well over 1000 positive reviews combined, and you can read these by clicking here.

  1. Add this service to the cart and proceed with the booking. We’ll send a prepaid and insured label, so you can get this to us from any UK Post Office to be checked. Other options for getting this to us are available on this page.
  2. We check your MacBook and confirm repairs required to get you up and running, in up to 5 working days for our Standard Service (if booking for our Express Service, same or following working day of receipt). We offer optional work if required, and can ship the MacBook back at no charge if you decide not to proceed with the repairs ( exclusions apply for age of MacBook, prior repair attempts, and more. Click here for details).
  3. If proceeding with repairs, we normally take 2-3 working days to fix this, and then ship it back to you directly via DPD. If a repair needs to take longer, we’ll inform you beforehand.

    Frequently asked questions

How do I package my MacBook for the journey to you?

Once booked in through our website, you receive an email explaining how to package your MacBook up, to ensure it arrives with us safely.

I'm in a rush to have my MacBook back, can the repair be carried out quicker?

Yes we can; we offer an optional Express Service on all assessment/diagnostics as well as repairs. On assessments, you can select the dropdown menu at the top of this page to select the speed of the service, for repairs, just contact us after booking to arrange. Click here for more details about our Express Service.

Will I lose my data during the repair?

We receive a lot of MacBooks for repair, mainly sent in for data recovery purposes, and the repair itself won't affect the data as long as there was no data corruption as a result of the original damage.

Do I get a warranty with the repair?

Yes, all repairs come with a 12 month warranty. We stand behind the work we carry out, and only use the best quality parts and techniques to ensure all MacBooks we repair last.

What if you find other issues with my MacBook?

If we notice any other issues during testing, we will be in touch to see if you would like the additional faults to be fixed at the same time, at a discounted price compared to our normal rates.

If the issue impedes the booked repair, we will contact you before proceeding with the repair, otherwise if it is an optional repair, we will continue with the booked repair and will wait to hear back from you, to avoid delaying the repair.
